MONCTON, N.B. x-12s. A New Brunswick woman is trying to bring an end to a pig-chasing tradition at a rural fair in Prince Edward Island, where children are encouraged to pursue the small swine as they scramble around an enclosed pen. Animal welfare activist Melodie Robb says the so-called pig scrambles can seem fun, but the animals can get seriously injured.
