Harvey Milk Festival Announces Music Lineup

Harvey Milk Festival has announced this year's lineup of 10 musical acts, from local bands to a performer whose music is currently appearing on movie theater and television screens nationwide.

The eighth annual festival will take place May 11-13, concluding with a free concert at Five Points Park in downtown Sarasota.

Virginia alternative electronic musician Ki:Theory is one of this year's headliners. His cover of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence" can be heard in the trailer for the upcoming "Ghost in the Shell" remake, and he has done remixes for acts including Daft Punk and Queens of the Stone Age.

Fellow electronic act Magic Sword, who wear Daft Punk-esque masks, will also headline. The group's music appeared in the video game "Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number."

This year's other headliner is Philadelphia synth-pop group Vita and the Woolf, who is touring with Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and have played such festivals as South by Southwest, Savannah Stopover and the upcoming Firefly Music Festival. …
