NAT080 - (Iraq-Civilian Deaths) BAGHDAD. x-11s. Amnesty International says a recent spike in civilian casualties in Mosul suggests the U-S-led coalition is not taking adequate precautions to prevent civilian deaths in the battle against Islamic State militants. The human rights group's report follows acknowledgement from the coalition that the U-S military was behind a March 17th strike in a western Mosul neighbourhood that residents have said killed more than a hundred civilians. U-S Army Chief of Staff General Mark Milley says it is quite possible the Islamic State group is behind the deaths. ("..that's very possible.") (SOURCE: The Associated Press)

TAG: Milley says an investigation is underway into the airstrike.
