PEP Guardiola refused to bemoan his team's bad luck in hitting the woodwork more times than anyone else in the Premier League this season.

And after joking that maybe Fifa should resurrect the old notion that the goals should be made bigger, he made it plain that it is just one more area in which his team needs to improve.

After all, hitting the post is just another way of missing - that seemed to be his thrust!

Kevin de Bruyne hit the post twice in City's 2-2 draw at Arsenal, taking the Blues to 17 woodwork hits this season, one ahead of both Bournemouth and United.
