ZLATAN Ibrahimovic believes that United deserved more than a point against Everton - but refused to be drawn on the referee's decision to disallow his headed goal for offside.

The Swede's celebrations were cut short by the assistant's flag midway through the second half when the Reds were trailing 1-0 to a Phil Jagielka goal.

And although Ibrahimovic netted a stoppage-time equaliser from the penalty spot, he spoke of the frustration at a third successive home draw in the Premier League.

Asked about the decision to chalk off his strike, Ibrahimovic told BT Sport: "I could not see it. I thought it was good because I came from the red side of the defender. I thought it was good but I cannot say if it was offside or not."

United were guilty of poor defending for the opening goal, but Ibrahimovic pointed to the number of chances his team created. …
