Rosie Hamlin of Rosie and the Originals died in her sleep Thursday at the age of 71, according to a statement from her family on her website. "Angel Baby" hit number five in 1961 and was based on a poem Hamlin wrote when she was just 14. John Lennon once called it one of his all-time favourite songs.
