CALGARY. x-15s. A group of scientists is urging the Alberta government not to back down from its plan to phase-out the use of off-highway vehicles in the Castle Wildland Provincial Park and Castle Provincial Park within five years. Groups that represent people who drive A-T-Vs, trucks and jeeps in southwest Alberta have protested against the plan. Jon Mee is one of 57 scientists who sent an open letter to the government to counter the pushback by the off-highway vehicle community.
