JOSE Mourinho has questioned the goalscoring returns of five United players after another profligate Premier League game.

United hit the woodwork twice and had a goal disallowed during their draw with Everton, but forced the visitors' goalkeeper Joel Robles into making just two saves.

Bottom eight sides Hull, Burnley, Bournemouth and Swansea have all managed more home league goals than United this season and Mourinho admitted it has caused him to change to a more direct approach against Everton.

"Twenty matches unbeaten is amazing," Mourinho said. "I would sign immediately for that next year because in the modern Premier League it is really, really difficult to do. But we need to score goals to win matches.
