TAIPEI, Taiwan -- The Centers for Disease Control (CDC, [...]) said Wednesday that an EVA Air flight attendant had contracted measles and that 170 individuals were now under monitoring as a result.

The flight attendant, whose name was not released, worked in the Elite Class cabin crew of EVA Air's Flight BR62 from Austria to Thailand on April 5 and 6, followed by Flight BR212 from Thailand to Taiwan on April 7.

The person sought medical help Monday after developing symptoms on Saturday, the CDC said.

It also stated that the individual had visited Singapore, Bangkok, Beijing and Hangzhou during the incubation period of the disease.
