Blues Close to Securing Switch for PSG Starlet

The Blues are said to be poised to snatch the 17-year-old centre-back from his club Paris St Germain after Zagadou reportedly turned down a fiveyear contract offer.

The 6ft 4 defender is also said to have impressed Pep Guardiola and visited City's east Manchester academy set-up in January, along with his international under-18 teammate Mickael Cuisance.

Zagadou's trainee contract expires this summer, which would mean that City would only have to pay training compensation for the player.

PSG, said to be desperate to stop Zagadou leaving, after losing stars like Kingsley Coman and Moussa Dembele in recent years, detailed their football director Patrick Kluivert to intervene. …
