HALIFAX. x-19s. A Nova Scotia woman who pleaded guilty to murdering Loretta Saunders sought to adjourn her own appeal of the case today, but was denied by the court. Victoria Henneberry wants the provincial Court of Appeal to order a new trial on grounds that she panicked when she pleaded guilty to second-degree murder. Crown lawyer Mark Scott told the court that he had reservations about Henneberry's attempt to get a further delay because she wanted more time to seek a further psychological assessment.
