Mourinho Reveals Secret to Success over Chelsea

JOSE Mourinho insisted United's shackling of Eden Hazard and Pedro was instrumental to their rousing victory over Chelsea.

The Reds won their first Premier League home game in over two months on Sunday with goals from Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera.

Mourinho switched to the 3-5-2 formation United started in for their FA Cup defeat at Stamford Bridge last month, which featured Herrera's firsthalf red card. The United manager remains adamant his side would have beaten Chelsea had Herrera stayed on that day, and explained how he tactically outclassed the visitors' coach Antonio Conte.

"I want to say I was convinced even before the cup that controlling the two players that played behind Diego [Costa] was important," Mourinho explained. "Sometimes Hazard, sometimes Hazard-Pedro - controlling the position of these two players, and controlling the full-backs because they go really deep with two wide men - would create them lots of problems. …
