SAGKEENG, Manitoba. x-7s. A 19-year-old woman is dead and two teenaged girls are charged with second-degree murder in the latest tragedy to unfold on the Sagkeeng First Nation in Manitoba. The small community northeast of Winnipeg has seen violence, including the disappearance and deaths of indigenous women. Claude Guimond, the principal of the community's high school, says gang activity has increased in recent years.

TAG: R-C-M-P are investigating a video that Guimond says shows the victim being beaten. The video has been shared on social media and Guimond says students and staff have been hit hard by the tragedy.
