Mooy Named Player of the Year in Vote of Confidence

AARON Mooy has been named Huddersfield Town's player of the year after a stunning season with the Terriers.

The 26-year-old joined Manchester City on a three-year deal last summer after impressing at parent club Melbourne City.

The Australia international was immediately loaned out to Huddersfield for his first taste of competitive football in England.

Mooy has been at the heart of the Championship side's landmark season under David Wagner ever since, The midfielder has been directly involved in 14 goals for the Terriers - who could yet be playing in the Premier League next season after booking their place in the play-offs.

And Mooy has now claimed his fourth award in a month for that individual role.

Having been awarded the Blue and White Foundation player of the season, and being named in the EFL's team of the season and the Championship's PFA team of the year, Mooy has now been named the club's player of the season. …
