EVERY week Nostalgia finds out what makes Manchester special for local characters and personalities.

This week it's the turn of well-known former footballer David Cross, who scored 223 goals in 599 appearances.

He played 31 times for Manchester City scoring 12 goals and won the FA Cup with West Ham in 1980.
