TEN years ago today, three-year-old toddler Madeleine McCann vanished from a holiday home in Portugal. She was presumed to be snatched from her bed while she slept next to her two-year-old siblings, while her parents Gerry and Kate McCann dined with friends just a few metres away.

A decade later and Madeleine is the world's most famous missing person - the case has never been out of the spotlight.

"There is still hope that we can find Madeleine," says her mother Kate. She has described the anniversary of her daughter's disappearance as a "horrible marker of time, stolen time", but said she was no less hopeful of finding Madeleine than she had been in 2007.

Madeleine's disappearance from the resort of Praia da Luz on May 3, 2007, has been investigated by police forces in two different countries - but they came up with contradictory conclusions. …
