NAT001 - (Westray-Disaster-25th) STELLARTON, N.S. x-20s. Twenty-five years ago today, the Westray coal mine in northern Nova Scotia exploded in a massive fireball. The early morning blast killed 26 miners. John Merrick was the lead counsel for the public inquiry that investigated the tragedy. NAT003 - (Alta-Dead-Toddler) EDMONTON. x-16s. Members of an indigenous community in central Alberta are angry that strangers are using social media to attack the mother of a toddler who was found dead outside a church last month. The body of Anthony Raine was discovered in Edmonton. His father and girlfriend have been charged with murder. Luci Johnson, a community worker with the Samson Cree First Nation, says people on Facebook discussion groups have blamed the boy's biological mother, Dalyce (dallas) Raine, and her family for his death. …
