Hail Ken, the 6.30am Park Clean-Up Hero - but Just Who Is He?

A DOG walker who spends his mornings cleaning up his local park has been hailed a 'legend.' .

Every day the man, known only as Ken, can be seen in North Reddish Park, in Stockport, with his pet Apollo. Ken picks up litter and even replaces rubbish bags in public bins.

A photo of him hard at work was uploaded to Facebook by fellow dog owner Carl Andrew, who was so impressed by Ken's community spirit that he wanted people to know why their green space was always so tidy.

He wrote: "Ever wondered why North Reddish Park is so rubbish free? Well, it's certainly not the council that keep it that way. No, it is because of Ken. This is Ken and at 6.30am every morning, he bags up any rubbish he can find."

Carl described Ken as a 'lovely, pleasant man', who deserved recognition for everything he does for his community. …
