Gill Recalled from Loan Spell to Face Tigers

OLDHAM have secured the return of exciting centre Kieran Gill from Castleford Tigers.

The 21-year-old had been on loan at Bower Fold, but was recalled and named in the 19-man squad for Tigers' match against Huddersfield earlier this month, though he did not take part in that game.

He has re-signed for Scott Naylor's side on another seasonlong loan deal, which will again include a 48-hour recall clause.

Oldham chairman Chris Hamilton said: "Kieran has always s enjoyed his time at Oldham with us and we've enjoyed having him.

"He's always regarded himself as part of our club since he first arrived last season."

Meanwhile, Leigh Centurions have secured the signing of St Helens centre Matty Fleming on a shortterm loan deal. The ex-Sale Sharks academy product has linked up with Neil Jukes for one month initially and goes straight into the squad to face Salford Red Devils at the Magic Weekend in Newcastle. …
