NAT143 - (Sask-Cyber-Attack) CALGARY. x-07s. An expert in cybersecurity says it's not likely the Saskatchewan government was hit with the same malware that's been paralyzing computers around the world. The province says its network was flooded with traffic, causing a two-hour website outage and some other problems. Eric Jardine (jar-DEEN) is with the Centre for International Governance Innovation based in Waterloo, Ontario. He says it would be a weird shift for the hackers behind the WannaCry malware to mount what's known as a denial-of-service attack. ("..involve computers.") (SOURCE:The Canadian Press)
