NAT080 - (Trans-Mountain-Lawsuit) EDMONTON. x-10s. The Federal Court of Appeal has granted the Alberta N-D-P government intervener status in lawsuits filed against Kinder Morgan's Trans Mountain pipeline expansion project. Several First Nation bands and B-C municipalities filed the lawsuits in a attempt to stop the project that already has federal and B-C approvals in place. Alberta Premier Rachel Notley says she knows some oppose twinning of the pipeline and respects their opinion. ("..entire country.") (SOURCE:The Canadian Press)
