* #LadyInRed: Nearly 450 supporters of the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women fashion show and luncheon filed into the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh hotel, Downtown, Friday. Many of them wore red. This was the first year the event included the fashion show. "This is shaping up to be our most successful event of the year," said Des Wienand, vice president of development of the American Heart Association of Greater Pittsburgh. "We expect to net approximately $700,000," she added. The afternoon began with boutique shopping and a silent auction in the King's Garden room. Ice and Elegance, Pretzel Crazy and Chloe's Adornments were just a few of the shops set up for browsing and buying jewelry, sweets and clothing. Paramedics also offered CPR demonstrations.
