CALGARY. x-16s. A Court of Queen's Bench judge says the Saskatchewan government is within its right to shut down the provincial bus company. Justice Lian (LEE'-ann) Schwann has dismissed an application from the union that represents Saskatchewan Transportation Company workers for an injunction to stop the government from shutting down the Crown-owned bus service. Eric Carr, president of the Amalgamated Transit Union, says the highway traffic board has not approved any other operators for the routes, so people won't have any transit.
