NAT047 - (Afghanistan-Blast) ISLAMABAD. x-07s. The Afghan capital has suffered one of the worst attacks since the drawdown of foreign forces in late 2014. A suicide car bomb went off during today's morning rush hour in one of Kabul's most secure districts -- the diplomatic district -- where several foreign embassies, including Canada's, are located. Afghan officials say 80 people died and 350 were wounded. Associated Press correspondent Kathy Gannon reports security in the city has deteriorated this year. ("..particularly horrific.") TAG: The Taliban denies any role in the attack. There has been no report of casualties or damage at the Canadian Embassy.
