Regional Chamber Looking into Issues Raised by Anonymous Letter

The St. Louis Regional Chamber is looking into allegations made in an anonymous letter that has been sent to the chamber's board members, according to correspondence obtained by the Post-Dispatch.

The chamber's executive committee discussed the anonymous letter over the phone on Monday, and so far, no improprieties have been found, according to an email obtained by the Post-Dispatch.

The email, sent by Steven Cousins of the law firm Armstrong Teasdale, advised board members that the anonymous letter "will reach media soon" and advised them to refer calls to Tim Beecher at the public relations firm FleishmanHillard.

A chamber spokesman declined Tuesday to disclose the nature of the complaints outlined in the anonymous letter.
