United Facing Stiff Competition for £100M Lukaku

BAYERN Munich have joined United and Chelsea in the race to sign Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, according to sources close to the player.

The Reds have made signing a striker a priority with top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic unlikely to play again in 2017 after suffering a serious knee injury.

Lukaku, who briefly worked with Jose Mourinho at Chelsea, is a serious option along with Real Madrid's Alvaro Morata and Torino's Andrea Belotti.

While Chelsea's interest in re-signing the Belgium international has been well-documented, Bayern Munich have now entered the race.

M.E.N. Sport understands that Lukaku's situation will soon be sorted out and his father, Roger, is particularly receptive to a move to the Allianz Arena.
