The top two members of the Senate intelligence committee say they believe former F-B-I director James Comey told the truth under oath.

Republican Chair Richard Burr says he trusts James Comey.

Senator Mark Warner, the committee's top Democrat, also says he believes Comey.

Comey testified he interpreted remarks from Donald Trump as a directive to shut down the bureau's investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

Trump's lawyer says Trump made no such suggestion. (18)



The Bay is slashing two-thousand jobs across North America.

Canada's oldest retailer says the layoffs will save the company 350-million-dollars annually once fully implemented by end of fiscal 2018.

The company says it's looking to better compete in an increasingly tough retail environment.

The job losses represent about four per cent of its workforce in Canada and the United States. (18)

The jury at the Bill Cosby trial has heard from the man once known as ''America's Dad'' through a written statement.

Prosecutors read into the record his lurid, decade-old testimony about giving pills to Toronto native Andrea Constand and then reaching into her pants.

Jurors sat riveted and took notes as they heard Cosby say he touched her body at his suburban Philadelphia home in 2004.

Cosby testified as part of a lawsuit brought against him by Constand in 2005, which was settled under confidential terms.

The 79-year-old could get ten years if convicted of drugging and molesting her. (18)
