Blues Want Money from Sevilla for Striker Nolito

SEVILLA president Jose Castro has spoken about potentials deals involving City's Nolito and Jesus Navas.

The Blues have allowed the La Liga club to talk to the former given he is not part of Pep Guardiola's plans, but are unwilling to countenance a loan deal. If Sevilla cannot stump up the cash, the Blues are confident they will find another bidder. Castro announced that the club are hopeful of signing Nolito and also securing a deal for free agent Jesus Navas.

"We know what we want and we want to bring back Jesus Navas, he is a fantastic player," he told Cadena Ser radio.

"It was a coincidental meeting (between Nolito and sporting director Oscar Arias), but that doesn't take away the fact that if we can, we would like to sign him.

"We can't say anything until coach [Eduardo] Berizzo arrives, although we have already spoken to him about certain issues. …
