THE families of those killed and injured in the Arena terror attack are set to benefit from a further £3m from the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.

An incredible £11.2m has been raised to help those affected by the atrocity, with £1m released at the start of this month.

Trustees of the charity set up to distribute the cash have now agreed to make the next round of payments to ensure the families of those killed and those who survived the blast benefit from the enormous outpouring of public support.

Another £3m has now been released, bringing the total available for distribution to £4m.

The appeal, which was set up in the days following the bombing, has been led by Manchester council and the M.E.N. in partnership with the British Red Cross.
