Broady Feels Right at Home with Fans as She Makes Semi-Finals

NAOMI Broady is in semi-final action at the Aegon Manchester Trophy today.

The world No. 115, from Stockport, was victorious in yesterday's quarter-final against No.1 see Kai-Chen Chang of Taipei at The Northern Lawn Tennis Club in West Didsbury.

Broady will now face Zaraina Diyas from Kazakhstan in today's last-four clash.

The Stockport sixth seed was delighted that her performances are improving as the tournament progresses.

"I am so pleased," she said. "I was playing much better than I was on Thursday.

"I think it helped that is wasn't as windy. I served really well and served a great game to finish off the match.

"She's a great player and I knew she would be tough and I really had to stick to my tactics, mix in lots of slices again, but I think my serve made the difference. …
