CURIOUS CREATURES BBC2, 6.30PM CAN a tiger's roar be heard as far as two miles away? Is a shrimp's heart in its tail? Is the tongue of a blue whale heavier than a black rhino? These are just some of the fascinating questions debated in this wildlife-themed quiz show hosted by Kate Humble.

Set up a bit like QI, Kate quizzes two teams, captained by Chris Packham and Lucy Cooke, who are then free to showcase their expert knowledge of all creatures great and small.

It's a competition, but no one really cares about the winning. It's more about the deluge of extraordinary animal facts.

In the first episode, Chris and Lucy are joined by fellow wildlife presenters Iolo Williams and Lizzie Daly.
