THE London-based food chain Leon opened its second restaurant in Manchester yesterday, outside Piccadilly station.

The new restaurant in unit 17 of Gateway House will give visitors the chance to enjoy its naturally fast food and sample items from Leon's new 'Sunny Inside' summer menu, which launches tomorrow.

Piccadilly customers will also have the chance to try classic dishes such as the fishfinger wrap, Moroccan meatballs and the super salad.

The opening of this restaurant will take the total number of Leons to 49, and it will be one of the few stores to have a 'grab and go' fridge, stocked with drinks, shakes and salads.

John Vincent, CEO of Leon, said: "We've been blown away by the big warm welcome given to us by Mancunians, who told us they want us in the city centre. …
