Hidden Valley to Add a Zip Line Attraction, Peak Resorts Says

Peak Resorts says it plans to add a "zip line tour" at its Hidden Valley resort in Wildwood.

Construction, which is estimated to cost about $2.5 million, will start this fall, the Wildwood-based ski resorts operator said in a news release Wednesday.

The attraction should be open for business in the fall of 2018.

Peak Resorts says the attraction, which is designed to bring in visitors year-round, is expected to generate as much as $1 million a year in revenue.

According to a summary of the project provided to the city of Wildwood, the project will include four high-tension lines, at maximum heights of 150 to 170 feet, above trees.

The tour would be set up for two-person tandem rides with the ability to brake the device to take photos.

Tours would primarily be offered on a reservation basis, like tee times on a golf course.

The attraction would be open all week during peak season, and Thursday to Sunday during offseason.
