Harrop Heads to Preston after Reds Dream Debut

JOSH Harrop has left United to join Championship club Preston after just one appearance for the Reds.

Harrop, 21, started the last game of the Premier League season against Crystal Palace and scored the winner in a manof-the-match performance. The Stockport-born forward was expected to stay at the club after he was offered a new contract, but Harrop will join Preston on a free transfer at the end of the month.

Harrop recently liked a quote shared on on Instagram which read 'Difficult roads often lead to a beautiful destination' and 'Sometimes you have to go up really high to understand how small you really are'.

After the Palace game, Harrop said: "We all said to each other this is a moment for us all and we want to go and enjoy it.

"I think everyone out there did themselves proud, everyone did more than enough and it was a great performance from the lads. …
