WINNIPEG. x-7s. The Manitoba government says it will probably be a few more weeks before it knows how soon rail service can be restored to Churchill. Flooding this spring damaged the rail line that is the only land link to the subarctic town. Lee Spencer with the province's emergency measures organization says the rail line's owner has hired outside engineers to do an assessment of the long, remote section of track.
