Kolarov Happy for Return to Rome - but Not Yet

ALEKSANDAR Kolarov has said he would love to return to Lazio … but not until his City career is finished.

The 31-year-old defender is on holiday in Rome with his family and talked of his desire to go back to the club where he made his name as a raiding left-back before securing a £17m move to City in 2010.

"I would love to return to Lazio," he said.

"When I finish my adventure at City it would be nice to embrace the white and blue again."

Kolarov was said to be ready to leave the Blues last year, but changed his mind when he heard that Pep Guardiola would be taking over as manager.

He has ambitions to be a coach, and felt that working under Guardiola would give him a head start for when his playing days end.
