WILFRIED Bony says he wants to stay at City to show the fans his true self.

The Ivory Coast striker is available for around £15m this summer after Pep Guardiola made it plain he had no part in his future plans.

Bony was farmed out to Stoke on loan last year, when it was obvious that he was a distant third choice for one striker place, after Sergio Aguero and Kelechi Iheanacho.

With Gabriel Jesus having joined the club in January, and City in hot pursuit of Alexis Sanchez, the prospects of Bony getting near the Blues' first team are remote.

But the 28-year-old, who was bought for £27m after topping the Premier League goalscoring charts for the calendar year of 2014, says he does not want to go anywhere - and he still has two years left on his contract.

"I love the club, the fans," Bony said. …
