NAT036 - (Canada-Day-Sunrise) CAPE SPEAR, N.L. x-16s. A boatload of early risers headed out on the North Atlantic off Newfoundland to be among the very first to welcome Canada's 150th birthday as dawn broke. Rain and clouds blocked the sunrise over the lighthouse at Cape Spear but that didn't bother the flag-waving crowd. Singer-songwriter Kellie Loder (LOH'-der) sang "O Canada" as the vessel stopped at Canada's most eastern point. ("..somewhere else.") (SOURCE:The Canadian Press)
