Colts Plan to Dethrone Kings and Close Gap at Top of Table

THE Belle Vue Colts are targeting six home wins out of six tonight when they host Kent Kings in the National League.

Rivals Eastbourne have gone four points clear at the top of the table and have a match in hand over the Colts, but a win tonight for Belle Vue would close that to just one.

And they'll have more than ample firepower to help them with Rob Shuttleworth back after a lengthy spell off through injury.

Kent are also expected to be at full strength apart from one guest booking, Mitchell Davey, in place of Luke Bowen.

"Our lads are so dialled into the track, it's almost scary," said Colts boss Graham Goodwin. "Our priority is to win all our home meetings but having said that, I feel tonight will be our toughest to date in Manchester.

"Unfortunately we still don't have Lee Payne as a result of his shoulder injury, but we're delighted to have Rob Shuttleworth back in our side and he's excited to finally be back with the rest of the boys. …
