Angelino Flying to Breda to Join City Team-Mates

THE sixth City player to go on loan to Dutch club NAC Breda for the coming season will be Angelino.

The Spanish left-back will join the club - which is newly-promoted to the Eredivisie - as part of an agreement with the Blues which includes the loan of between four and six players every season.

Breda have already secured the return of full-back James Horsfield and attacking midfielder Manu Garcia, both of whom became fans' favourites as they helped the club back into the top flight after two years in the Eerste Divisie.

That came after striker Thierry Ambrose, attacking midfielder Paolo Fernandes and defender Pablo Mari were announced as the initial trio of loans.

Angelino's City career has hit a plateau after early promise as a raiding left-back, as his only appearances came as a substitute in the FA Cup win at Aston Villa in 2016 and again in the dead rubber Champions League game against Steaua Bucharest last season. …
