THERE can be nothing more thrilling or ridiculous than the finale of a buddy cop show pulled straight out of the 80s.

So if you like adrenalinefuelled car chases, explosions, fights, near-death experiences and an obligatory race against time, you certainly should not miss this.

Of course the plot becomes more insane as the episode goes on, but the twists and turns are so good that you won't care.

Riggs (Clayne Crawford) has been mourning the loss of his pregnant wife throughout this series - we saw the devastating scenes in episode one as she was killed in a car crash.
