Roughyeds Coach Forced to Shuffle His Pack against High-Flyers

SCOTT Naylor will be forced to shuffle his deck once more when high-flying Featherstone Rovers arrive at Bower Fold tomorrow.

Prop forwards Michael Ward and Joe Burke were rested for OLDHAM'S impressive victory over Toulouse last week, but with Adam Neal suffering a broken jaw in that game and Sammy Gee now serving a one-match ban, the pair are expected to return.

With nine first-teamers out injured, it is likely the Roughyeds' lineup will include some Super League experience in the shape of dualregistration players made available by Huddersfield Giants. Stand-off Sam Wood and forward Dan Smith played major roles in last week's win over the French full-time outfit.

"Featherstone are chasing a top-four spot, but so were Toulouse last week," said Naylor.

"We were unlucky to go down 8-6 at their place in February and although we lost 30-4 there in the Challenge Cup, there wasn't a lot between us in the first half. …
