BBC PROMS BBC2, 9PM ANDY MURRAY may be out of Wimbledon but one annual event we can always rely on to boost morale is the Proms, and the 2017 run promises to be better than ever.

The latest Henry Wood Promenade concerts kick off on BBC Four from 8pm, but here's a chance to see the second part with regular presenter Katie Derham at London's Royal Albert Hall.

The BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony Chorus and the BBC Proms Youth Choir, conducted by Edward Gardner should all prove why they are some of the best musicians in the world. And American music titan John Adams' choral work Harmonium should ensure the evening ends on a high note.
