Police Want to Speak to Man in Rape Investigation

POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to after a woman was raped in Salford.

The victim was attacked at a house in Ordsall after leaving a city centre hotel in the early hours of the morning on Sunday, April 30.

Detectives are urging anyone who recognises the man in the CCS TV to get in touch, as he could hold vital information to help with their investigation.

They are also asking a man who called a taxi for the victim following the attack to get in touch.

The woman, who is in her 40s, left The New Union Hotel, on Princess Street, at 4.15am, before going to a house in Ordsall where she was raped.

She left the house at about 5.45am, and knocked on the door of a nearby house to get help.

A man answered the door and called a taxi for her, which took her to the Fallowfield area. …
