P03 - (AFN-Meeting) OTTAWA. x-12s. Assembly of First Nations National Chief Perry Bellegarde says First Nations leaders are divided on what to do about the troubled national public inquiry into missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls. In an interview, Bellegarde says some want a reset of the inquiry while others want resignations from the four commissioners. But Bellegarde is still steering a middle course, saying the inquiry needs to put families of the victims at the forefront. ("..voices are heard.") (SOURCE:The Canadian Press)

TAG: Bellegarde also encourages the commissioners to use their powers to ensure all police services are reviewed through the inquiry. And a commission spokesperson says they will do just that.
