Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has declared victory in a vote marked by protests violence around the country. Police clashed with opposition members as voters went to the polls to elect an assembly to rewrite Venezuela's 1999 constitution. Opponents say the vote is a bid to install a one party dictatorship.
