2nd Victim of Gunman in St. Louis Murder-Suicide Dies More Than 6 Weeks after Shooting

ST. LOUIS * A woman who was among the injured in a chaotic shooting and standoff in St. Louis in June has died.

Twona Parson, 42, died of her injuries Wednesday, more than six weeks after police say she was shot by a gunman who killed another woman and later himself. Two others, including a 15-year-old girl, were also injured in the shooting June 18 at an apartment in the Old North St. Louis neighborhood.

Police say Marlo Boyd, 41, killed Deanna Williams, 18, and shot Parson, the teenage girl and another woman.

Authorities have not given a motive in the shooting, but said the gunman and victims were all connected. Boyd, Williams and Parson all lived in the 1900 block of North 14th Street, where the shootings took place.

Officers were first called to a reported shooting just after noon that Sunday. …
