Spurs Won't Allow Reds Target to Leave This Summer

TOTTENHAM will reportedly reject any advances for left-back Danny Rose, amid interest from United and Inter Milan.

M.E.N. Sport revealed last month United are interested in England international Rose with a view to possibly bidding for him next summer. Tottenham are believed to value Rose, 27, at around £50m after they sold Kyle Walker for the same figure to City earlier this month.

But the M.E.N.'s sister publication, football.london understands that Spurs will not entertain any bids for Rose this summer and are not willing to part with him.

Rose has not played since January due to a knee problem but attended a kit shoot at Spurs' training ground earlier this week as he continues his rehabilitation.

United have always acknowledged the difficulty they face in negotiating with Tottenham's chairman Daniel Levy but it did not stop them from targeting Rose's team-mate Eric Dier earlier this summer. …
