Woman Robbed of Car by Gunmen

A woman was robbed of her car late Wednesday outside a home on the city's south side and Topeka police were looking for two armed men responsible for the holdup.

Police Lt. Steve Roth said the incident occurred about 11:05 p.m. in the 1400 block of S.W. Armagh. The location was near S.W. Armagh and Westview, about a block northwest of the Walmart at 1301 S.W. 37th.

After a woman parked her 2006 brown-gray Ford Fusion, she was approached by two armed men with handguns, Roth said.

The men pointed their guns at the woman and told her to drop her car keys, threatening to shoot her if she didn't comply.

The woman dropped her keys, and the two assailants picked them up and left in her car.

Roth said one of the robbers is described as a mixed-race man in his mid-20s, standing 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a medium build. …
