Kobach's time machine

I once thought Secretary of State Kris Kobach was wrong about voter fraud. But then I checked the record. He is absolutely correct. There is a record of rampant voter fraud in Kansas history - 19th century history.

When it came time to vote on whether Kansas should be a slave or free state in 1855, Missourians snuck into the territory and fraudulently voted in favor of slavery. There were sufficient illegal votes to impact the outcome of the referendum. Voting problems continued until 1859, when a fraud-free election was finally held. Guardians of the ballot box were certainly needed at that time. Kobach has only missed being relevant by about 150 years.

If Kobach can imagine rampant voter fraud in 21st century Kansas, I can imagine a time machine. …
